1.History of development of domestic traumatology and orthopedics. Organization of orthopedic and trauma care in Ukraine. Features of medical-labor examination and work of the medical-consultative commission of orthopedic-traumatological profile.

3. General changes in the body during injury. Bone tissue regeneration: course, causes of disorders and ways to eliminate them, features of regeneration in different age groups, terms of consolidation of different types of fractures.

4. Methods of treatment of orthopedic and traumatological patients.

Conservative treatment: - general principles, characteristics of methods of repositioning of fractures and correction of dislocations; - plaster immobilization: technique, indications, possible complications and methods of their elimination. Features of functional plaster bandages; - skeletal traction.

Surgical treatment: - surgical access to bones, joints, tendons, muscles - indications, principles of fixation of fragments by intra- and extramedullary structures, external fixation devices - joint replacement, - features of preoperative preparation and postoperative treatment of orthopedic patients.

The first day: the role of the family doctor in the system of complex treatment of patients with orthopedic and traumatological profile.

Congenital and acquired diseases of the spine (osteochondrosis - cardiac and vertebrobasilar syndromes).

Scoliotic disease, differential diagnosis, principles of providing qualified care - 5 hours).

Second day:traumatic injuries of the musculoskeletal system and support (upper limb injuries (dislocation of the shoulder, fractures of the humerus, injuries of Montague, Galiazzi, fracture of the radius in a typical place, injuries of Bennett and Roland clinic, diagnosis, principles of first aid, transport immobilization).

Lower extremity - fracture of the femoral neck, diaphysis and supracondylar injury of the thigh, knee, bumper fracture of the tibia, Dupuytren's fracture, anterior and posterior Desto, damage to the bones of the foot, principles of first aid, transport immobilization. Terms of consolidation - 5 hours.

Third day:polysystemic and multiorgan injuries (polytrauma, combined and combined trauma), medical care at the pre-hospital stage.

Gunshot wounds of the musculoskeletal system (explosive, fragmentary, bullet).

Clinic, primary care at the pre-hospital stage, qualified medical care. Principles of rehabilitation treatment of patients with the consequences of gunshot wounds. Requirements for the imposition of the tourniquet.

Traumatic shock. Prolonged compression syndrome. Compartment syndrome. Clinic, diagnosis, principles of primary care at the stages of evacuation - 5 hours.

 Fourth day: degenerative-dystrophic diseases of the musculoskeletal system (deforming arthrosis, aseptic necrosis, cyst-like reconstruction, clinic and differential diagnosis, treatment algorithm.

Inflammatory diseases of the joints:

specific(tuberculosis, gonorrhea, brucellosis, dysentery and reactive arthritis);

- nonspecific(rheumatism, rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, scleroderma, ankylosing spondylitis).

Clinic, differential diagnosis, interpretation of additional research methods (general blood test, biochemical and serological blood tests, MRI, ultrasound, X-ray, scintography). Principles of treatment of specific and nonspecific joint lesions - 4 hours.

Discussion of the results of practical classes with emergency physicians and family physicians - 1 hour.
