KOVALCHUK Dmytro Yuriiovych – PhD (Med), an Assistant at Traumatology and Orthopaedics Department of O.O. Bohomolets National Medical University

Kovalchuk D. Y., year of birth - 1971, graduated from M. Gorky Medical University of Donetsk in 1996.

After graduation, he passed an internship at the Orthopaedics and Traumatology Department of Donetsk Medical University. From 1998 to 2014, he worked at the Hand Microsurgery and Trauma Rehabilitation Clinic of the Institute of Traumatology and Orthopaedics of Donetsk Medical University and the Regional Trauma Hospital.

Since 2016, he used to work at the Kyiv Clinical Hospital on Railway Transport №1.

In 2016, he represented his PhD paper "Diagnostics and Treatment of Hand Stenotic Ligamentitis".

Since 2019, he has been an assistant at the Traumatology and Orthopaedics Department of O.O. Bohomolets National Medical University, and in 2022, he became the same department's Associate Professor.

Kovalchuk D.Y. is the physician of the highest category in orthopaedic and trauma surgery. He focuses his scientific activities on pathologies and trauma injuries of upper limbs, the surgery of a hand and peripheral nerves, and paediatric traumatology.
