Turchyn Olena Andriivna, MD, head of the Foot Pathology and Complex Prosthetic Treatment Department of the SI "The Institute of Traumatology and Orthopaedics, NAMS of Ukraine", orthopaedic and trauma surgeon of the highest category, professor at the traumatology and orthopaedics department of O.O. Bohomolets National Medical University In 2003, she graduated from O.O. Bohomolets National Medical University, specialising in General Medicine.
Since 2005, she has been holding the position of a leading scientific researcher in the Foot Pathology and Complex Prosthetic Treatment Department.
In 2010, she represented her PhD paper "Surgical Correction of a Foot in Patients with Inherited Motor-Sensory Neuropathy".
In 2020, she represented her doctor's research: "Diagnostics and Treatment of Plantar Enthesopathies".
Since 2021, she has been a professor at the Traumatology and Orthopaedics Department of O.O. Bohomolets National Medical University.
She is the author of over 90 publications, ten inventions, seven pieces of methodical recommendations, and one monograph.
In practice, she prefers the matters of diagnostics and surgical treatment of congenital and acquired foot deformities and orthopaedic correction of gait disorders in patients with inherited neuropathies.
