Chornyi V.S., year of birth – 1977; in 2000, he graduated from O.O. Bohomolets National Medical University.
From 2000 to 2001, he was a surgery intern at the P.L. Shupyk National Medical Postgraduate Academy by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine; in 2002, he became a specialist in cancer surgery.
From 2001 to 2005, he used to work at the Musculoskeletal Tumours Department of the National Cancer Institute as a cancer surgeon and from 2005 to 2010 - as a junior researcher.
Since 2010, Chornyi V.S. has been a senior laboratory assistant at the Traumatology and Orthopaedics Department of O.O. Bohomolets National Medical University. In the same year, he finished a course in orthopaedic and trauma surgery speciality.
In 2011, he represented his PhD dissertation in cancer surgery: "The Optimisation of Combined Treatment of Osteogenic Sarcoma Patients".
During 2014-2019, he worked as the department assistant, and since 2020, he has been the department's Associate Professor.
Chornyi V.S. is engaged in pedagogics, science, consulting and treatment work. He registers consultative and therapeutic affairs and supervises a students' scientific club.
